Dreaded EC Code and no help from Frigidaire

The dreaded EC fault code after only 2 years of service. I registered product when I bought it but strangely they have no record now. I thought it had 10 year warranty on the compressor but lady on phone says only 1 year warranty. I am out $300.00 for 2 summers worth of service. Frigidaire if you read these reviews please help. I will be happy to give you back this brand new looking faulty unit for one that works. It has to be a workmanship defect.
