Provides more versatility for high and low temperature cooking techniques. Even-Heat(TM) Technology maintains a constant supply of power and delivers a range of simmer settings.

Convertible to Duct-Free Ventilation

After years of using a Jennair electric cooktop with old fashioned electric coil burners, we purchased the KitchenAid 30" downdraft ceramic cooktop with four elements. Easy to use and it heats up so quickly. Clean-up is a breeze with Affresh wipes.

I bought this downdraft because I had a gas cooktop by Kitchen Aid in my previous home. I like Kitchen Aid appliances. It's a great improvement over the downdraft I had before.

I just had my stovetop installed less than a month ago. It looked so beautiful in my new kitchen. I used it twice and it already is scratched! I am beyond disappointed and dissatisfied! This shouldn’t have happened after 2 uses! Not with a respected brand like KitchenAid. And certainly not after having spent so much money on it! So sad.
