I've had an electric cooktop for years & was always frustrated by the lack of heat control when cooking or canning. Gas is the only way to go and my new KitchenAid installed on a large center island provides me with the perfect combination of ease & functionality. Having all the controls front and center is a real plus. Now I just need to get some new cookware that works better with the heat distribution of a gas burner.

We just purchased and received this cooktop for Thanksgiving and everything fit well and was easy to install, but the center grate does not lineup with the notches. Will now have to reach out to support for them to
