I bought this as part of a bundle. I like the look of the fume hood. It does what I need it to do. But installation was a challenge. First, I told the salesperson I needed a recirculating fan. She said, “no problem.” The only problem was that she neglected to tell me that I’d have to order a separate kit since parts were only provided for venting out. Add to this that the template holes were not appropriately placed making the installation more challenging than necessary.

We purchased the Kitchenaid Hood to go along with our new Kitchenaid stove and it worked out fine. The hood is easy to use and I especially like how easy it is to clean! Our only problem is it's slightly shorter than our previous hood so we're looking at optons of how to fix the gap.

I never have used the product due to the motherboard being replaced and I'm awaiting a part. It was defective right out of the box! Not the Kitchen Aid quality I'm used to seeing in the past. I will be rating everything POOR as I haven't been able to use any of the features due to the slack product that was sent to me.

I purchased this about a month ago. Had the big box store coordinate the install. They did a very good job, even with our home not having a vent to the outside the store recommended the convertible feature and it works and looks great.
