Stovetop works, oven is a nightmare. Oven won't hold the temp, very unreliable. We didn't get the extended product plan & frigidaire only has one repairman for all of central NY. We waited 2 wks for him to assess, then 3 wks for part to come in & 3wks more to fix it. we wanted a new range but corporate HQ wouldn't comply Our range never worked right from the beginning.Won't buy a frgidaire appliance again & will warn our friends not to either. Poor service all the way around

I love my new range. Looks good and so far it works great. Enjoying the speed of the air fryer and other features such as the probe. Glass top is easy to keep clean.

This is a nice glass top, free standing electric range. The multiple size burner areas are great -- you can target the hear where you need it. The oven pre-heats fairly quickly and we like the three racks. We also liked the self-clean steam option and expect that this will be a significant improvement over the old range. We have not tried the air fry feature yet but the stove top and oven work great.
HAve proper expectations.

Where to start. Cooking with the convection bake option is not as expected. Previous convection ovens got me hooked on the circular even cooking but this oven falls short on evenness... When cooking a sheet of cookies, I have to let the cookies closer to the door overcook in order for the cookies closer to the fan to cook just enough to not be raw anymore. When cooking a whole chicken, unless I rotate the chicken during cooking, it will overcook on one side while the other side will still be far from the required inner temperature for safe consumption. Problem is, with an oven that size, every time you open the door, you loose a lot of heat, which impacts cooking time and quality greatly. Because the oven needs to reach the set temperature again, it will have an overheating effect on your food, cooking it more than needed on the outside and not reaching the inside conveniently. Now about the stovetop. The quick boil burner seems nice at first, but the difference in temp. between the times the element is ON and OFF is too great. So you set the burner on 2 or 3 for a mild cooking. The element will turn on until proper temperature is reached, then turn off to avoid over heating and then on again. This is normal. But I feel it drops too low before turning back on again. So to avoid undercooking your food, you bring it up a little notch, but then when the element turns ON, sure enough, the temperature gets too high. It just feels badly adjusted. The adjacent burner is no better. Same power as the quick boil burner, but spread out in those 3 tier rings. It really lacks in power unless you use the bigger ring setting. ...which is useless when you have a small pot. Now, about the control panel. It is not very responsive. You have to touch the buttons at this one precise point. So when you have a few pots going on and the oven running and you're on a roll, and need to set the timer, well, it can take you a while. You'll have to try those buttons a few times or REALLY take your time to aim precisely on this one point where it'll actually works (and just forget it if your finger happens to be a bit damp). It's frustrating. I've tested the responsiveness of other control panels on friends, family and neighbors' ranges. All where much more properly responsive.Cherry on top of my sunday, my oven door squeaks. I barely touch it when reaching for a pot or the control pad, and it squeaks the most high pitch annoying squeak. Anytime the oven handle is barely touched, it squeaks. Always. A repair guy came, tightened a screw that seemed at fault. It helped at first, but the squeaking came back by the end of that same day.Side note; I have to mention the design and finishing touches on the range. It's all just underwhelming. I expected something prettier and made with overall better quality. But that is my personal opinion and does not impact the range's performance. I called customer service to mention how unsatisfied I was and to stay polite, I'll just say I was very unimpressed with customer service. I was told that maybe I didn't know how to use the range properly. They also said it could be my pots and pans' fault. Or that I didn't know how to use THEM properly. So in a nut shell, of course you could be lucky and receive a range that is satisfying, according to your standards. But if ever you get a lemon or if your expectations are not met, there are good chances NOBODY but you will care about it. You will probably be left feeling like nothing more than a little number lost in the aisles of a big brand company. ...Buyer beware.Final note: I've worked with low-end ranges that were so much more efficient than this one. I thought by going in a bit of a higher price range, I would for sure be satisfied. That assumption was pretty foolish. I paid WAY too much to have to deal with that level of bad quality everyday.
