We recently had to replace our 24-year-old Frigidaire upright freezer. Got this new one at Home Depot. So much more accessible shelving and seems roomier (it is taller than our old one though they are comparable in cu. ft.). Love that it has a light inside. No more searching in dim light for what I want! Great so far and expect many years of service based on our last one.

I bought this freezer to replace a chest freezer. The chest is still working but at this point in life, an upright is just better. I researched extensively before purchasing this one. I was especially impressed at how quickly it came to temperature. This was especially important because it is a garage freezer in the South.

This is my first upright freezer. Love the adjustable shelves and the shelves on the door. Everything is convenient and easy to to see and get to. It beats trying to dig around in a chest freezer and find things.

So far so good. Only have had it for 1 month. Everything is still frozen. I had a Frigidaire Freezer for 25 years and never had a problem. The only reason I replaced it was because it was not frost free. I am hoping this freezer lasts at least 1/2 of that time.

Our 13 cubic ft freezer is perfect for our family. Plenty of room for large package sizes but doesnât take up a ton of space in the garage. Stays ice cold in the garage during a MidWest summer too.
