Counter depth is the best benefit. Enjoying the ice and water features. Can see all the freezer contents. Still adjusting the fridge shelves for best use.

I'll start with the positive, love the ice maker and the amount that it can hold. The black stainless steel actually matches my LG appliances very well. Now the not so good. First thing is a me issue. This is my 1st side by side so the ability to store a lot of things is challenging. Another minor issue NOISE it is on the loud side. Walking by the kitchen I hear it and wonder is it about to breakdown. Lastly, the seal on the freezer side needs to be stronger. The fridge is 3 weeks old and already the freezer side pops open when closing the fridge side. I rubbed vaseline on the seal to strengthen the suction and it works great for now. Overall a good fridge but time will tell.

I had a French door fridge with bottom drawer which i loved but the freezer drawer i hated so we opted to go back to side to side. I love the sleek stainless steel look to it. Its so much easier for space. Ice machine Is a little loud but only for a few seconds and that doesnât bother me. we love the cold drink option for freezer. The only thing i donât like is the 2 bottom drawers. If your fridge Is in a tight spot they wonât open all the way and you have to âbendâ The rubber on the door to pull them out. But other than that, love this fridge

We always said we'd never own a side by side. Glad we changed our minds! Our last fridge had a 'french' drawer with the freezer in the lower half. We miss that drawer with that extra space, but this side by side has more room in both fridge and freezer than our previous full sized fridge, minus the extra space for the 'french' drawer. I'm under 5'4 and had to have someone else get me the items from the top shelf that weren't even halfway back on the shelf. This fridge I can reach items at the back up on my tiptoes, but the fridge is taller than our old one. It's crazy, but it's a wonderful fridge! And the door are WAY EASIER to clean than our old one-it showed every finger print, smudge and overflow of water from the water dispenser.
