We switched out our gas cooktop for this induction unit. It's amazing. No odor, very fast heat, can boil a pot of water in two minutes. It's safer for the kids and better for the environment. It does make a slight hum when it's operating, which I wasn't expecting, but much quieter than a microwave. Hope to love it for many years to come!
