We thought we wanted a gas cooktop but due to supply chain issues ended up going with a Frigidaire induction cooktop. We are so happy we made the switch to induction! We love the smooth surface look on our countertops. It heats water super quick and clean up is a breeze. We love the even cooking and quick cooldown of the burners.

I am enjoying the cooktop and learning more about it. I do wish the power boil option worked quicker. It may be me but it doesn't seem to boil as rapidly as a conventional stovetop. That's the only reason for the 1-star deletion.

Our family is very pleased with this induction cook top. If you want to cook quickly, you can...and it will boil water in the kettle in about a minute. If you want to simmer, you can. We spent maybe $20 on a couple induction ready pans, and we're in business. Cook top is also very easy to clean...just wait to clean it after it cools to safe temperature!
