This is not a cheap microwave; should be a recall on this by whirlpool! I am an occasional user, so used it may be 20-30 times and start button works one day and doesn't work another day, later on starts working again and the next day doesn't work. Numbers do the same, each day different numbers don't work... What a horrible product! Such a waste of money!

Start button doesn't work after a year

This microwave was installed in our home right before we moved in. It did decent job at microwaving, but after 13 months, the extremely important Start button will no longer work. It is now an expensive clock that won't microwave anything just because of one button. If the power goes out, it will just be an expensive hole in the wall, because I won't be able to change the clock.

We bought this microwave to replace an older unit and as part of a kitchen remodel. We chose it for it's look, wattage and size. It is nice that it's a Whirlpool too, an American Co. The unit works well and performs as expected. It has many features that we have yet to learn about and try. So we're looking forward to that. We would recommend this microwave.
