The black Samsung Induction Cooktop is sleek, stylish, and the smartest way to cook on the modern market. Frankly I am surprised that more people have not yet converted to conduction - it is really such a great way to cook. I've been interested in conduction cooking for years and am thrilled that I finally took the plunge, and with Samsung’s conduction cooktop in particular. This cooktop has many extra features that you won’t find in other basic conduction cooktops including a power boost setting for warp speed cooking, digital analog controls, and a flex zone. Samsung is able to support any type of cooking you’re trying to do from catering a gourmet multi-course dinner for 20 people to whipping up some mac n’ cheese for one. Many people avoid conduction cooking for fear of high costs - people think they'll have to buy all new special cookware but this is not the case. More than half of the pots and pans we already had work perfectly on this cooktop! The prerequisite for your pots/pans/kettles to work during induction cooking is that they must be made of a magnetic-based material, such as cast iron or magnetic stainless steel. Fully clad cookware will also work on induction cooktops because they're magnetic. And Samsung makes conduction affordable with this new cooktop – it’s got all the bells and whistles you’d expect in a high-end conduction cooktop for literally half the price. And when I say superior, I mean SUPERIOR. Induction cooking on this Samsung cooktop takes less than half the time - it's remarkable. I timed a kettle on a standard cooktop and on my Samsung induction cooktop simultaneously.....the induction kettle was whistling after 3 minutes while my standard cooktop took a whopping 8 minutes. What a difference - my busy mornings just got easier. And if you're a bit of a klutz like me, induction cooking is by far the safest option for you...the cookware gets hot but not the cooktop. You can literally put your hand on the cooktop immediately after boiling water in a pot and the cooktop is cool to the touch. Honestly, I could go on and on but you really need to see this for yourself. Samsung induction cooking is on the absolute cutting edge of science, technology, and the culinary arts. The Samsung induction cooktop is attractive, well built, and extremely user friendly. It has given my kitchen an incredibly smart modern look and I've already gotten loads of compliments from friends, family, and neighbors.

The Samsung Induction cooktop is great with only a few minor things I wish were different. The cooktop is sleek and so easy to clean! I really hate cleaning cooking messes between knobs and buttons, so the smooth surface of this unit makes cleanup a breeze. I love the virtual flame on two of the elements – it’s nice to be able to glance at to judge how high the heat setting is. This unit includes a removable magnetic knob for adjusting the temperature on any element you select. It’s such a cool idea, but controlling the temperature can be a little erratic until you get used to it. I haven’t used both elements of the Flex Zone at the same time, but I do wish each individual Flex element was a little larger. Some of my frying pans overhang a bit more than I’d like, but it still does a good job. The Power Boost feature boils water faster than you can possibly imagine. I’ve heard induction was fast, but seeing is believing. My last cooktop was not induction and took a while to heat up much less boil water. Induction really is instantaneous and adjustments to temperature are immediate. This cooktop also connects to Smartthings and allows remote monitoring from your smartphone. Also, it connects wirelessly to our Samsung under cabinet hood which turns on automatically once you start cooking. Awesome!

I have had this cooktop now for 9 months and in absolutely love the performance. I have always preferred cooking on gas due to its precision and efficiency, however now prefer cooking with induction as it is super fast and more efficient than gas. Samsung has done a great job with the LED lights that simulate a gas burner. The cooktop is super flexible with the bridge burner that allows me to convert two burners into one to accommodate later pots/pans. Very easy to clean and do not have to worry about getting burned if left on.

We just bought a new Samsung NZ30K7880UG Induction Cooktop and we're very happy with it. It has excellent features such as flex zone burners where you can combine the burners on the left to create one large burner for a large size skillet. It boils water very quickly using the boost option. The flat glass surface is beautiful. The blue LED lights add a nice effect to make it look like you're cooking with gas. I've cooked with gas before and this cooktop is actually better than cooking with gas. There's complete control over the heat and response is quick and efficient. There are some problems with the Samsung Smart Home App but a representative just told me that software updates will be released soon. I highly recommend this cooktop.
