Don't expect to use the self clean on your wall oven. It is a fire hazard and the first time we used it, it caused the microwave above it too overheat. We were advised NOT to use the self clean as it was too hot when encased around cupboards. Very serious hazard exists if using the self clean!

There are so many features of this micro/oven combo that I thoroughly like. However, we have had the machine a little over a year. In the very short time we've had it, it has been repaired 3 times. The repair company states that they don't know what else they can do, as just about everything has been replaced. They did the latest repair 4/14/19. So far, they have replaced the circuit board and the convection fan and something in the microwave oven which was making horrendous noise. The oven has been overheating and then stops running. We'll see if the latest part replacement fixes the unit. If not, I want my money back.

    Uneven Microwave and Oven Doors

I bought this product 6 months ago and spent way too much money on it, hoping to acquire a good quality product. The door on the oven sticks out farther than the door on the microwave. It looks very weird & bugs me each time I walk by it. In addition, the slide-out oven rack is too loosey-goosey and practically slides out all on its own, without any help. On Christmas Eve Day I made a triple batch of Chex Mix and after baking it for the first 15 minutes at 250 degrees, I opened the oven door to stir the mix and a big, black cloud of smoke came pouring out. Also, there was a slimey, wet mess on the oven floor that had spattered all over the oven walls & door. The Chex Mix was ruined due to the thick smoke having permeated the entire batch. The spatters stained the inside of the oven & will not wipe off. No, the baking pan had not leaked or overflowed. Yes, I had precisely followed the manufacturer's instructions prior to using the oven for the first time after it was installed. The microwave fan makes a loud whooshing noise after it shuts off. If the door is not pushed firmly after closing, the light will sometimes stay on. This should not happen. I want this unit replaced or my money refunded. I should have stuck with the regular Whirlpool brand and not tried to upgrade. I am not a happy camper and very disappointed with this product. Please contact me via email ASAP.
